ACCOUNT / SUBSCRIPTION
Account & subscriptions
Your account provides access to the user panel, plans, client downloads, and subscription details. No email address is required; register with a username and password. Treat the subscription as account configuration and store it only on your own devices and in controlled environments.
What do I need to register for 3MVPN?
No email address is required. Register with a username and password. Use the username to sign in to the user panel, and store the password separately rather than reusing it on other websites. After registration, sign in to the panel, choose a plan, and download the client from the Downloads area. Subscription details should also be accessed from the signed-in panel.
How do I update my subscription link?
Sign in to the user panel and copy the current subscription, then open the client’s subscription manager and run an update. If the client still shows old routes, delete the old local subscription and re-import the content provided in the panel. Do not edit the subscription address manually or place subscription details in public documents, screenshots, or shared configurations.
Do I need to buy again after changing devices?
No separate purchase is needed when changing devices. 3MVPN supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux, with no device limit. Sign in to the user panel on the new device, download the appropriate client, and re-import the current subscription. When retiring the old device, also remove its saved subscription configuration.
Why haven’t the routes shown in the client been updated?
The client may still be reading its local cache, or the current configuration may not have come from the user panel. First confirm that the current subscription was imported, then update the subscription in the client. If nothing changes, quit and reopen the client before updating again. If multiple configurations were saved, make sure the latest one is enabled.
CONNECTION / TROUBLESHOOTING
Connections & troubleshooting
For connection issues, first determine the scope. A problem with one app is usually related to its networking method or rules, while failures across all routes call for checking the local network, client permissions, subscription status, and system network settings.
What should I check first when the client cannot connect?
First confirm that the local network can open commonly used websites, then check that the subscription is up to date, the correct client configuration is enabled, and the system time is accurate. Next, switch to another route and reconnect. If no route works, temporarily quit other tools that modify network settings and restart the client for further troubleshooting.
Why isn’t a particular app using the proxy?
First check whether the client is using rule mode or global mode. Rule mode selects a path based on domains and app traffic patterns, while some apps may use a separate network interface. Switch modes to see whether the rules are responsible, then update the configuration and restart the app. If system-level network access is disabled, allow the client to create a connection again in system settings.
What should I do when the connection works but webpages still won’t open?
Try another target website first to determine whether the issue affects one site or the whole connection, then switch routes and reload the page. The browser may retain an old connection, so close and reopen the relevant tabs. If the client keeps connection logs, check whether requests are reaching the current route. If there are no requests at all, verify that the system proxy or virtual network interface is enabled.
What should I do if the client stops working after a system update?
A system update may reset network permissions, background-running permissions, or virtual network settings. Reopen the client and check system authorizations, then close the old connection and establish a new one. If the configuration file remains, update the subscription first. If it was lost, retrieve the client and subscription again from the user panel instead of continuing to use an unknown old configuration.
SPEED / ROUTING
Speed & routes
A complete connection consists of local access, an international relay, and the target exit. When troubleshooting speed, do not judge by the route name alone or change every option at once. Keep the environment fixed and switch routes one at a time to identify the affected link.
How should I choose a route during peak-hour slowdowns?
Keep the current task open and switch to another route in the same target region; avoid changing several client settings repeatedly at once. If routes in the same region perform similarly, compare a nearby region. Reload video after switching routes, and save your work before reconnecting long-lived tools. Choose based on actual performance on your current network.
How do I choose a route for AI Tools?
Start with an exit location where the target service is available, then keep the route and sign-in environment relatively stable. Web apps can be sensitive to region detection, sign-in status, and streaming output, so switching exits frequently can interrupt a session. For developer tools that use long-lived connections, choose a route before starting the task and avoid changing it while output is in progress.
What should I do if Streaming loads but playback is buffering?
Pause playback and switch to another route in the same region, then reopen the playback page so the player can establish a new connection. You can also temporarily lower the playback quality to determine whether the issue is network fluctuation or region detection. If the page reports a region mismatch, clear the site’s old session before accessing it through the target-region route.
Why does the same route perform differently on different networks?
The local carrier network, access method, current routing, and target service all affect the end-to-end path, so one route may perform differently across network environments. During troubleshooting, keep the device and client settings fixed and change only the route or local network. This helps identify whether the change occurs at local access, the international relay, or the target exit.
BILLING / REFUND
Billing & refunds
Monthly subscriptions and data packages handle traffic differently. Monthly subscriptions reset on the activation date, while data packages remain valid until used and never expire. Before purchasing or upgrading, confirm the current plan status and actual usage needs in the user panel.
What monthly subscription tiers are available?
Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Traffic resets monthly on the activation date. Estimate usage from everyday browsing, video viewing, file syncing, and developer tools rather than judging by a single use case.
How does a mid-cycle monthly subscription upgrade work?
For a mid-cycle monthly upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, check the current plan and remaining status in the user panel, then choose a new monthly tier. If you only need extra traffic occasionally, compare a data package with the upgraded plan before deciding.
Do data packages expire?
Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They suit users whose usage schedule varies and who prefer traffic based on actual consumption. Monthly subscriptions reset on the activation date, so distinguish between the two billing models before purchasing.
How do I request a refund, and which payment methods are supported?
3MVPN offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel and describe the relevant order and refund request in a ticket; subsequent handling records remain on the ticket page. Payments are supported through Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Do not create duplicate tickets for the same issue, as this can split the handling history.
